Installation help
From download to first lesson in five minutes
The apps install like any other Windows program. If something does not behave as described here, please get in touch.

Download the installer
Use the download or purchase link on the app page. Paid apps are delivered through Lemon Squeezy immediately after checkout; your receipt email also contains the download link.

Run the setup file
Double-click the downloaded .exe. The apps install for the current user only, so you do not need administrator rights and no system-wide changes are made.

If Windows SmartScreen appears
The apps are not code-signed yet, so Windows may show “Windows protected your PC”. Click More info, then Run anyway. SHA-256 checksums are published so you can verify the download.

Open from the Start Menu
A Start Menu shortcut is created automatically (and optionally a desktop icon). Uninstalling later keeps your saved sounds, settings and student rosters.

Portable option
Some apps also ship as a portable .zip. Unzip it anywhere — for example on a USB stick — and run the executable directly. No installation and no shortcuts.
About the SmartScreen warning
The apps are not signed with a paid code-signing certificate yet, so Windows may warn you the first time you run the installer. Click More info, then Run anyway. Checksums are published on each app page so the download can be verified.

The questions teachers ask most

Does the app require internet?
Downloaded apps and the offline Coin Toss game run without internet. To play a free game on this website, you need internet to open the page and load its game files. No account is needed.
Are my pictures uploaded when I play Coin Toss online?
No. Change background opens a picture from your device and prepares it inside your browser. It is never sent to our server. Pictures must be under 20 MB and 24 megapixels; larger accepted pictures are resized for smoother play. Your original file is unchanged. Refresh the page to return to the starter sheet.
Which versions of Windows are supported?
Windows 10 and Windows 11, 64-bit. Nothing else needs to be installed — no Python, no runtimes and no extra software. Older 32-bit installations of Windows are not supported.
Can I reinstall my purchase?
Yes. Your Lemon Squeezy receipt email contains your download link and can be used again at any time. If you cannot find the email, contact support with the address you used at checkout and the link will be re-sent.
Can I use the app on multiple computers?
Yes — the licence is per teacher, not per machine. Install it on the computers you personally use, such as your classroom PC and your home computer. Please do not share the installer or downloads with colleagues; each teacher needs their own licence.
Will I receive updates?
Yes. Updates are included for the version you bought, and your existing download link always points at the latest build. When a new version is released you can simply download and install it over the old one; your settings and saved content are kept.
Does it work on macOS?
Not currently. The apps are Windows desktop applications. The browser-based free tools, such as Coin Toss, also run on a Mac in a modern browser.
What should I do if Windows SmartScreen appears?
Click More info, then Run anyway. SmartScreen appears because the apps are not signed with a paid code-signing certificate yet. You can verify your download against the SHA-256 checksum published on the app page. If you are ever unsure, delete the file and download it again from this site.
