Overview
Word Spy turns pictures into a vocabulary mission. Type a word and search for an image, or upload your own. Choose 4 to 20 pictures with different words, then start the game.
Each picture hides in the dark. Move the flashlight with your mouse, touch the screen, or use the arrow keys to explore it. The light grows over 30 seconds, followed by a final three-second countdown. Choose the matching word from four answers, or press keys 1 to 4.
For a gentler lesson, turn off “Lose when time runs out” in Settings. The game reveals the answer and carries on. Library pictures and words are remembered on this device; your own uploads are private and last for this session.
