Snowman Builder

Type a word and search for a picture, or upload your own. Choose 4 to 20 words with different pictures and start spelling. Each word hides behind a playful mystery card until you choose Reveal Picture, so classes can work from the letters alone — or use the picture as a friendly hint.

Vowels are free: click A, E, I, O or U to reveal every one in the word with no penalty. Consonants do the building. A correct consonant reveals all of its letters and adds exactly one part to the snowman, from the big bottom snowball all the way up to the bucket hat.

A wrong consonant knocks off the most recently built piece with a funny, harmless animation — the carrot spins away, the coal eyes bounce, the bucket flies off. Snowman progress never drops below zero, and snowman progress carries across the whole vocabulary list, so the class works together towards one big snowman.

Finish the ninth part and the snowman comes to life, waves and waddles to the back of the scene, joining the snow family. Keep building and the background fills with up to ten snowmen. If you break the one you are building, the most recent snowman walks back and takes the hit instead. Every solved word shows its picture and word together. At the end, see words completed, snowmen built and mistakes, then play again or choose new words.
