Overview
Beep Beep Town teaches the English words for places in a town: school, hospital, park, supermarket, library, restaurant, police station, fire station, post office, bank, pharmacy, bakery, zoo, cinema, museum, airport, swimming pool and train station.
Each day a few new buildings rise on empty lots. Children watch a place being built, hear its name, then tap three pictures to find out who works there, what you see there and what people do there. Then the bus is ready to roll.
Passengers climb aboard with a ticket, a need (“I want to borrow a book”), a job (“I’m a firefighter”) or a parcel to deliver. Children tap the right building and the bus drives there. A wrong building gently explains what it is, and help is always free.
Signs on the buildings fade as children remember each place. Later they paint missing signs with letter tiles and solve mystery stops from clues. Places come back after other trips, mistakes return sooner, and places from earlier days return for review. Stars brighten the town with flowers, a fountain, balloons and more.
